Course Overview
This intensive training course is designed to give existing Microsoft Access 2000 users additional skills and knowledge on using the many features and functions of this software. This is an entirely 'hands on' course which will give participants experience in creating databases. The course makes use of a variety of data views, queries and reports.
Course Description
The course has been designed for existing users of Microsoft Access 2000 who want to get grips with some of the more advanced features of this database package. Participants will create various types of queries e.g. parameter queries, action queries, and crosstab queries. They will also create and customise forms by adding lists, customising form sections, inserting graphics, modifying control properties and creating sub forms.
The Reports section covers creating and modifying a report in design view, adding sections, sorting and grouping report data, modifying report properties, creating sub reports and synchronizing report data. We will also briefly cover creating hyperlinks exporting from excel and using Database tools such as password protection.
It is essential that candidates have already attended the course Introduction to Microsoft Access 2000 and are very confident working with other Office programs such as Microsoft Word 2000 and Excel 2000.This course is not for anyone who has any uncertainty of computers.
At the end of the course candidates will be able to demonstrate a greater understanding of the concepts of Working with Microsoft Access 2000.
